With more than two decades across mental health, public health, rehabilitation, and substance-use counseling, Dr. Watkins guides individuals and institutions toward wholeness. She is the founder and CEO of Sister W.E.L.L.S.™ and serves as AVP for Student Health & Wellness at the University of Utah, working to transform the systems that keep historically marginalized communities from accessing counseling and care.

She is the author of Healing in Review — her first book — and of The Dear God Collection, and co-author of Healing In Review: College Edition and a NASPA chapter on well-being and equity in higher education.
