Dr. Sherrá Watkins, PhD, MA.Ed, LCMHC-S, LCAS, CRC, CCS, BC-TMH, is a licensed clinician, public health educator, author, and strategist with over 20 years of experience spanning higher education, trauma-informed care, addiction and recovery, wellness consulting, and systems transformation. She is the visionary founder of Sister W.E.L.L.S., PLLC, where she creates liberatory spaces for healing, leadership, and equity to coexist.

A first-generation college graduate, a Black woman with a hidden disability (lupus), and a deeply spiritual leader, Dr. Sherrá brings both lived experience and clinical precision to her work. She’s passionate about designing wellness ecosystems where Black women and women of color don’t just survive—but lead, thrive, and heal aloud.

Throughout her career, she has led university-wide health and wellness initiatives, authored transformational wellness journals and affirmation decks, and delivered keynotes, masterclasses, and leadership programs across the country. Her voice resonates at the intersection of wellness and justice, data and spirit, strategy and soul.

Dr. Watkins believes wellness is not a luxury—it’s a right. And she’s committed to helping others reclaim it—one leader, one community, one system at a time.
